A feminine way to alleviate depression

We had to go and make photos for our Gcs today. Since I was feeling (and looking) unbelievably shitty, which, unfortunately, has became a habit recently, I applied a bit of make-up to my face, which I didn't do in 4 years.
What a revelation. I completely forgot how much a small amount of make-up can change my face. It felt like I got a tiny bit of former me - young and carefree - back. I went to a store and bought myself everything new from the ground up, since whatever I brought with me from Kiev is, of course, totally spoiled now. It cost me $70 (50% sale, duh) but so fucking what? I feel better...
How much you can forget in just 4 years...

The thing for me is not so much buying, but spending time looking, and there is no better reward than actually finding something cute on some zillion percent off sale.
