I guess we're just unable to do anything by halves

Getting an aquarium proved to be unexpectedly theurapeutic. But, as usual, we overdid it just a bit. Now we need a second one, since 3 guppies are already pregnant and clearly they are not going to renounce having a sex life any time soon.

we actually ended up giving away our guppies when they started procreating too fast - we gave away about 20 guppies on craigslist....and now just stick with 1 goldfish, 1 guppy, a couple сомиков :) and a few aquatic frogs. By the way - aquatic frogs are highly entertaining!!! They are cheap (about 2 or 3 dollars each) and they are hilarious to look at, especially when they come up for air. Sometimes they freeze in a 'zen' pose, and they look like little people with their hands and legs stretched out. Just make sure not to put them together with goldfish, as those will attack the frogs. We have one acuarium, but I bought a 'aquarium separator' to keep half of the tank for the frogs and half for the goldfish and сомики.
If you have any questions, just let me know - dbenarye (my husband) is the primary caretaker for the tank, but we both can probably answer questions...

I think we're just bound to end up with 5 aquariums or so - hubby hates giving anything away, much less pets. :)
