Лыжный сезон прямо на глазах тазом накрывается: в декабре прохлопал, а теперь просто жопа какая-то.

Поскольку я на лыжах не ежжу, меня очень даже устраивает. Только все равно похолодает скоро. :(

It's just the school getting to me. So stressful.

What are you studying in school? Where are you in school? I imagine being a mom and being in school at the same time is pretty bloody stressful.

Nursing - and this is the last semester, so I'm wired up pretty tight.

Oh, yes. They attempt to kill you in nursing school. It seems almost deliberate.

There is no 'almost' about this. Believe me.

I'll take your word for it, although, I am having the most delightfully macabre vision of a graduating class of nurse corpses.

The fact that it's macabre and not a reality owes nothing to the teachers. And they are doing it with a smile.

Sweetie, what on earth are they doing to you?

I had a friend who was flunked her clinical because her teachers said her wire-rimmed glasses were inappropriate for a *nurse.* This was a very long time ago.

I had a patient who endured three semesters of a nursing instructor who only gave decent grades to student who toadied to her.

And I could tell you unbelievable horror stories about graduate school in clinical psychology. In our courses in methods of psychotherapy, we were required to play the part of patients while the instructors demonstrated the way to do therapy, and it was expected that we would use real issues from out real lives. Then the instructors would take information they obtained and use it against us in student evaluations.

You still have my sympathies.

Hey, thank you for the wake up call.
I have spent hours tonight working on the next chapter, and it is still not where I want it to be, but at least I am writing again and will keep it up especially since you are so unhappy and I want to make you happier.

But right now, it is so late and I so have to crash.
