We were talking with some of my classmates today and one of our guys casually mentioned his SO - well, so it happened that it was a "he". I almost went "huh?"

I'm starting wondering if I have this so-called 'gaydar' at all. He was next-to-the-last of our males who I would think of being gay. The last one actually has a wife and a two-year-old son. :)

Just HOW people are able to determine this? Or the existence of a 'gaydar' is just another myth? This is the third time I had been surprised like that...

(меланхолично) а нам, аутистам, вообще не положено ориентироваться в social situations и иметь gay-dar (or any other -dar, for that matter). I've no idea if I ever saw one - except in the movies, where they are not real anyway.

I just realised that I'm not completely sure you recognize me as me in Kofeinja... I'm almost sure, but not completely - I really don't remember...

And as for 'tired' part... aren't we all, really? I forgot the meaning of the word 'relax' totally and my teacher is keeping to tell me I'll end up with a nervous breakdown before the graduation. That's the classic example of 'how to make a workaholic out of lazy asshole in ten easy steps'.

Нверное, потому, что я переключила клавиатуру на латиницу, чтоб напечатать пару слов. Не, совсем рехнулась. Надо завязывать с Интернетом и смотреть Law&Order.

Стопка дивиди еще с прошлого года стоит несмотренная. Единственное что я еще не забросила - свою писанину. На все остальное времени нет. На это тоже нет, но надо же держать последний бастион. :)

Enroll in the nursing school and you will know. :) It got so bad, that I feel guilty if I spend one evening without touching the textbook or assignments. 2 hospital clinicals, 2 days of classes and 35 hours of work in a week on top of that. I just want to hybernate for a while.

No, it would not be fair to the patients... I guess can't do better than a PhD program with my Alzheimer - at least, I won't hurt anybody. A couple of part-time jobs, too, yeah... no, all this doesn't help at all - I'm still the same lazy bum.

I'm just checking if Netflix can help me with my Internet addiction... the DVDs in my pile are not free, unfortunately.

BTW, I believe you mentioned that you are going to enroll somewhere after you get your diploma... if those plans are for the next Fall, you probably should start filling out the applications.

No, I think I'll make a break for a year. It's bloody exausting and I want to have an year to work and get a grip on things without thinking about my grades in the same time.

dear.. i have to tell you the ugly true: after a year of the break starting schooling again would be just a nightmare..(интересно все-таки - откуда в мою голову прибрело и поселилось выражение «кошмар белой кобылы».. any ideas?)

Yeah, it's a classic - pale horse coming at night, bringing nightmares... just why do you think they are called night-mares? You'd probably picked this part of the myth somewhere and forgot about it.

And i know about starting after a break... but I'm not sure I can bear another 2 years without a break.

Хммм... это вообще-то и у меня первая мысль была - что потом лучше не будет (тем более - если full-time - это бросать уже найденную работу?)

Потом вспомнила, что сама-то как раз вернулась после годичного перерыва, и вполне так ниче... а дочечка щас очень жалеет, что сразу в graduate school подалась, и братьям строго-настрого велит так не делать... так что, наверное, depends.
