ars_longaBought a Solingen santoku knife yesterday - only $24.99 in TJMaxx. Informed my dear family that the first person to stick it in the dryer with spoons and forks will have their fingers chopped off. That's worse that the ubiquitous unscrewed toothpaste cup.
(That's something reminiscent of Sei Shōnagon here. 'What irks me most? When a hair gets into a calligraphy brush...' or something such. However, knives are SERIOUS BUSINESS in my (pillow) book.)
