Feb. 27th, 2005 03:08 pmСварила борщ. Подумала и добавила туда зиру, которая cumin. Очень интересно получилось. Рекомендую. Вообще борщ получился хороший - ядерного красного цвета, наваристый, эх. Туда сметанки Дейзи положить и смотреть как она постепенно растворяется - со всеми чудными цветовыми эффектами...

I made borsch. Upon some pondering I decided to put a bit of cumin in it. The results are definitely interesting. I think I can recommend it. All in all, the borsch can be counted as a success (not that I really can make a BAD one) :) It's intensely red, this particular shade of red that Alexandr Green (?) called "a color of borsh" and that I didn't see on any other thing or substance, and rich. Now all I need is to pour it in a bowl, put some Daisy sour creem into it and watch the color effects it'll create while dissolving.
