Global warming or the new Ice Age?

ars_longaCan please the Discovery channel make up its mind and decide which one it's going to scare us with? 'Cos seeing two different shows one after the other, one of which laments our cold snowy winters, be they trice damned, and the other informs us of the approaching Ice Age, which, and I quote, 'is already overdue', is a tiny bit confusing. Just a tiny bit, mind you. After all, we still have a Yellowstone supervolcano eruption, which is going to happen anyway, no matter the weather.
