Jun. 4th, 2011 10:50 amFinally got to the shooting range yesterday (the new branch of my old club just opened 3 miles down the road) after, gosh, almost 2 years off? Or thereabouts, anyway. I was so nervous that I forgot everything that my hands were shaking. The arctic temperature on the range wasn't helping any, of course. They should warn people to bring a sweater, honestly.
Did just 75 rounds, point-and-shoot, at 5, 7, and 10 yards. Apparently, it's like riding a bicycle - once learned, never forgotten. :) 4/5 in vital areas with chest shots, 3/5 with head shots overall. Not bad, but can use some improving. Range ammo is $20 for 50 rounds now, thank you, Obama. :s At least we have plenty of them now.
