He was removing the dust marks in bad lighting and accidentally added more smoke to the picture? Haha. Got to love it.

can you really see 'bad lighting' being an issue while working with Photoshop? :)

Yeah--when you're trying to add smoke to a picture that, darn it, didn't have it previously. You know, transparent brushes and all...the fuckers are hard to see in the dark.
