Actually, it was PetsMart. Whatever. We are leaving it, having spent $100 more than we were going to, loaded with goods and a new aquarium.

Me: We should be forbidden from visiting stores like this one.
Hubby: No, we shouldn't. We just need a good sponsor.

i get that way in a yarn store.
i asked the salespeople how come they don't accept credit cards there--they said that it's because people overspend like crazy, get into debt and can no longer shop there...and that it's unusual to have people drop 500$ on yarn...
now THAT"S wacko.

We just bought a new aquarium and plan to buy another one, 40 gallons, in two or three weeks.

Thankfully, fish and plants can reproduce by themselves, unlike yarn. But, jeeez, I never thought aquariums can be so addictive. :)

the closest i'll ever come to having fish is my hubby's fishtank screensaver =)))
yup, yarn doesn't reproduce--but produces really nice sweaters, and hats, and scarves and all the other crap you can give people as gifts =)

У меня эту роль выполняют магазины подержанных сидишек. Именно подержанных - 1) за полную цену редко тянет что-то покупать (только если точно знаю, что это хочу, а другого способа добыть нет); 2) в подержанных регулярно проскальзывают какие-нибудь раритеты, которые жалко упускать, потому что регулярным образом их не найдёшь. Вот и набираешь кучу, утешая себя тем, что "экономишь".
