1. Grab the nearest book.
2. Open the book to page 23.
3. Find the fifth sentence and post it.
4. Don't you dare dig for that "cool" or "intellectual" book in your closet! I know you were thinking about it! Just pick up whatever is closest.
5. Tag five other people to do the same

OK, so it goes.

Michel Foucault, The History Of Sexuality: An Introduction.

(and yes, it was the closest book, truly and without intent :))

The fifth sentence from the top, not counting the one that continues from the previous page:

The censorship of sex?

Considering that all the surrounding sentences were about a paragraph long (a big paragraph at that), I should consider myself lucky.

"28.5 MDIO Interface Signals ............. 832"

I'm at work, you see :) And the book is called "OCTEON CN38XX Multi-Core MIPS64 Family Pass 3 Hardware Manual". It's 1037 pages long, tough luck.

а я уже дома:

Увидел этот пост. Помнится, когда-то что-то такое уже было. Не помню, что тогда выпало. Но вот что теперь получается:

The monastery was the seat of a regular life

Книжка - J.Weizenbaum "Computer Power and Human Reason" - когда-то купленная на garage sale и так и не прочитанная.
