I need help (yeah, again)

Is there anybody in my f-list who likes long walks? Not hiking, just walking down a street a coupla miles. I used to do that a lot, but I've always had problems with footwear - snickers make my feet sweaty and consequently hello fungi infection and blisters. I tried Merrell sandals - didn't work either. I'm willing to shell out for a proper footwear that would allow me to pick up walking again. I did a measly 2.5 miles today and returned with a blister on one of my toes. That just won't do.

UPD: Found. ECCO Yucatan.

Try a google search for double layered moisture wick socks. I sent you that one because it's the brand I use, but there's lots more out there! There may even be that brand in larger sizes from different retailers. Amazon?

Got 'em on 6pm. Will try and see. That's why I posted that - I want to know what people use and are happy with. Shoes are complicated though - I have wide feet with a very high arch and most popular American brands make me feel like a Cinderella's sister - I can't get my foot in them past the first half or third... :(
